Week 32
Hi Babies,
Wow, you both are moving around so much now! I had another ultrasound this week and they estimate that you both weigh about 4lbs each, which is great. But from the images, you’re pretty cramped in there, so try not to fight too much over the limited space. They also told us that you are both in a breech position, which means feet down, instead of head down. That explains why I feel like you both are dancing around in there and kicking down. Our doctor decided that unless you two arrive on your own, we will plan to delivery you on September 6th, which is the Labor Day holiday. That’s still 6 weeks from now!! Hopefully you arrive a little before that, just try not to show up on September 3rd… too many people in the family have that birthday. Daddy’s co-workers also hosted a shower for us this week and we received several nice gifts. On Saturday we attended a class on breastfeeding and then went to a picnic at Grandma and Grandpa Williams house for the Williams extended family. Finally we ended the week with another going away party on Sunday for the pastor at our church. Father Bob was reassigned to a church in the Algonac area. It was very said and he will be greatly missed, but luckily has agreed to come back and baptize you both in the fall. Well that’s a lot of updates for this week!!

Week 29
Hey Kiddos,
It was an extremely busy week! I finished up my last week of official working in the office. It’s time to start “resting” since it has become very difficult to do much because of the swelling in my feet/ankles, plus you have both grown so big. Our family baby shower was Saturday 7/10. There were over 80 people in attendance, we had lots of yummy food and played some very cute games. All the guests were also asked to decorate a fabric square which will be used to make each of you a memory quilt. I, as well as Daddy, was just overwhelmed by all the wonderful gifts. We received so many of the items on our baby registry, that there is very little we need to run out and purchase before your arrival. After the shower, Daddy and “Uncle Josh” set up the cribs, changing table and moved all the furniture around so the room was ready for decorating. In the mean time, “Aunt Beth” and I went through and organized all the gifts so Daddy and I could go through it all and make sure we did not have too many duplicates. Our house has been taken over by gifts for both of you, and it is so exciting to think that we only have a few more weeks left before you will be able to enjoy them. Well time to start putting some of this stuff away.

Week 30
Hi Babies,
Well I have completed my first week of working from home and it really was not too bad. Being able to work in bed has really helped with the swelling and I’m finding that I have a little, but not much, more energy at the end of the day. I had another doctor’s appointment this week and Dr Goldfarb was impressed that I have not been having any problems, which would cause me to have to stay in the hospital. YEAH!!! Hopefully nothing starts happening now. Other than that, it has been a quiet week. Daddy and I started sorting through all your gifts and on Sunday we went to the Berger Family Reunion. Your Grandma Karen’s parents both come from very large families and every year, each group gets together for lunch and games. There are so many of us in the Berger clan, that we have the picnic in a barn. Next year you will both be able to go and I know that everyone will just love to meet you. Till next week!

Week 31
Thing 1 & Thing 2
This was a very quiet week, but a busy weekend. On Wednesday, Auntie Annie came over and helped put away some of your clothes and hang stuff on the walls. Grandma Karen came over on Saturday and helped me wash all the rest of the clothes, bedding and bottles and completely setup the room. It looks great and just needs two little babies to sleep in the cribs!! On Sunday, Dad and I ran errands and I packed my hospital bag so that when your both ready to come out, I will be ready. Other than that, nothing else is really going on… oh wait; I have also started wearing Daddy’s tee-shirts since my belly is so big. Hopefully I don’t stretch out his clothes too much!!

Week 27
Hi Babies,
I just wanted to fill you both in on my last couple of weeks. I had a baby shower at work on June 16th that was hosted by two of my very good friends, Tara and Ewa. We received many wonderful gifts, but there is no way to put them all away until Daddy has your furniture built, so they are just stacked up in our front room. As Daddy mentioned in the last post, we celebrated Father’s Day and the painting was completed in your room. This week was very busy and included dinner on the 23rd with my college roommate Mel who was in town from North Carolina, birthday dinner with my parents on the 24th and then my joint birthday dinner with “Auntie” Beth and several friends on the 25th. Daddy bought me a beautiful mom bracelet with 4 charms that included each of your initials, a baby carriage and a mom/baby chimpanzee. On the 26th I had cousin Jodie’s baby shower and then cousin Toni’s college graduation party. Finally we ended the week with a going away party on Sunday for the associate pastor at our church. Father Ozzie was called back to India after 23 years at our parish. He will be greatly missed. We also had another ultrasound this week and you both look great, although a little cramped for space. They estimated that you each weigh about 2.5 lbs. Right on track!! Well that’s all for now.

Week 28
Thing 1 & 2,
Happy 4th of July week!!! Well I have official learned what they mean by feet swelling. I’m no longer able to wear any type of shoes other then flip flops. Good thing it’s summer!! The weather has been extremely hot, near 100 degrees so I have been spending as much time inside with the air conditioner running. Daddy and I made one last trip to IKEA to pick up a rug for your room and he finished fixing up your closet. We spent the actual holiday with the Palazzolo family in the Helm’s family pool. It was very refreshing and I never wanted to get out of the water. Unfortunately the very hot weather worn me out and I ended up sleeping through the fireworks display. Oh well, we will make sure to enjoy them together next year.

Meeting as freshmen in high school Bryan came off to Annette as kind of dorky. Well that dork swept her off her feet and the love that they have now has bloomed into something special.
I would have to say that Bryan and Annette had the perfect wedding day.

In love with this image of Annette’s father, Kirk. Priceless.

After their beautiful ceremony we went to The Edsel & Eleanor Ford House. Which is a WONDERFUL place to go for wedding pictures!!

Their bridal party had an amazing personality!! They were a BLAST to work with, and I know Ed had fun posing them!

STELLAR!

I had each of the ladies pose with their cute paper umbrella….Bryan’s sister Amiee got all adorable with hers!

Ed was working with the guys at this point and I was chatting with the ladies. We decided to RUSH them….here is how it went down…..

Lots of LAUGHS!

Annette and Bryan worked SO hard on the theme of their wedding and I LOVE it when my clients do this. Their over all theme was based on a piece of scrapbook paper Annette found. Check out their wedding site to see how it all came together!

When asking for my clients rings for their custom ring shot I try to thing of something that fits them. Annette is a teacher and this is where the #2 pencil comes into play……

Thank you both for letting me be apart of your wedding day!!! :]
Much love
Miranda
Traveling has gotten me behind on my posting of Renee and Adam’s Dear Baby Series – SO SORRY!

Week 25
Thing 1 & Thing 2,
I’m starting to think that you are both going to be professional boxers when you grow up. You two have been moving around like crazy. In fact, Daddy actually had a chance to feel Thing 1 kick while I was lying in bed the other day. He asked if I could flip over so he could feel Thing 2, but when I moved, you both stopped kicking. Oh well, maybe next time! There is not much else going on right now. We are just waiting for your room to be finished, hopefully in the next few weeks. I’m just excited to see everything start to come together.

Week 26
Hey Thing 1 and 2,
This is your Dad. Well it has been a great week. The World Cup Soccer tournament has been going on for a few days now and I think you two can sense it by the way you’ve been kicking Mommy. Perhaps we have one or two future soccer players on our hands. Well for me, work has been slow; however work around our house has been in full swing. The new ceiling is in and the painting is complete. Your room is green and yellow with stripes on one of the walls. Now over the next two weeks I will start working on my “Daddy-to-do list, so that the room is ready for your arrival. My favorite part of the week was Sunday, which was Father’s Day or as I called it this year “Father-to-be Day.” Mommy had a shirt made for me, which said: “0-2 Kids in 9 Months, New Dad 2010.” I have been able to feel you both kick more often, and have to say that it is the greatest feeling in the world. I really can’t wait to meet the two of you, only 10 weeks to go. See you soon!
Love Your Dad
