I don’t give my age away very often.  Most people I meet are always surprised to find out how old I really am.  To me age is just a number, I am an old soul.

Today I am 25. WOW. I know right.

In honor of turning 25 myself and two of my best friends took a much needed trip to Chicago.  I had to go there to photograph a wedding so why not make it a girls weekend.

I have known Andrea (a.k.a Dreea, DreB, B) since elementary school.  We use to have a sticker club, yes you should be jealous.  She makes me smile and I know I can count on her.

I met Jessica (a.k.a Miller or J) in the sixth grade.  We made crafts and she invited me to her birthday party, the rest is history.  She is like my sister and I love her deeply.

We had a blast walking around downtown Chicago, living it up and laughing all the way.

This year we all turn 25 and this trip was our way to celebrate.

We had a blast……

Ate yummy food…..

Were a little dramatic at times…..

Acted like penguins….

got texted by random guys…

jumped on beds…….

ate at fancy restaurants….

went to space……and touched the sun……ps it’s hot…….

got a little silly in 3D…..

silly some more……

got welcomed to the jungle….. by an alligator….

had the worlds meanest waiter and the smallest sunday…….

and were together laughing through all of it.

Thank you for being a friend as the Golden Girls would say.

Erik and Kellie MARRIED

I don’t even know exactly where to begin with Erik and Kellie’s wedding.  It was a wedding of firsts -  first time photographing a wedding in Colorado, first time shooting in the rain, first time having a dog as the ring bearer…..I could go on and on.

My good friend Jeff, came out to Colorado to help me photograph Erik and Kellie’s wedding.  It wasn’t your average wedding day, seeing that we didn’t start shooting until 3 pm. So it was a lot of waiting around! So strange for Jeff and I!

Once we arrived at the venue, Hillside Gardens it was game on.  This place was crazy amazing.  It was a weird mix between a junk yard and the best collecting of strange stuff I have ever seen.  All combined into a garden.  Crazy Amazing I tell you.

Erik came up to me after Jeff and I had time to walk around and said “crazy right? I knew you would like it.” I sure did!!

The wedding ceremony was delayed one hour, because of the huge rain storm that rolled in. Right at the time we were going to start the ceremony.  Erik and Kellie were not bothered much by this seeing that they were both so overjoyed to be married.

The ceremony was simply beautiful. As Kellie’s mother walked her down the isle the guests cheered and clapped.  Erik and Kellie were surrounded by family and friends who love them a lot seeing they traveled from all of the US to be with them.

I give you the best, craziest, funniest, scariest wedding I have ever had the opportunity to photograph.  I loved every minute of it.  Big thanks for Erik and Kellie for choosing me to capture your crazy amazing wedding day.  Much love for you both.  Props to Jeff for ROCKING IT!

My new invention of the beer game……the guys took to it well.

They partied the night way…….

….but not out of mind!!!

Tomorrow I fly to the beautiful and oh so amazing Colorado!  While I am there I get to spend some time with my family and photography the super amazing wedding of Erik and Kelly!

I won’t be back in the office until Monday August 3rd, so please be patient with me in returning phone calls and emails.

Enjoy the rest of your July, I know I will!

Great news for all of you ladies out there!!

IC Photo is so EXCITED to announce our newest airplane pinup shoot!!!

A big thanks to my friend Bob who is welcoming myself and 5 ladies to come and use his hanger on September 26th!!

Hair and Makeup are included in the cost!  BONUS!!

Bring about 3 to 4 clothing changes – we love outfits that fit the era, but anything is welcomed!!

This is a GREAT deal and I can not wait to hear from you!
